I baked a Turkey with this thermometer , it works in the ovennow the best part. I clocked a frozen dish in microwave, and instructions says to measure internal temperature of the meal. at the end I put the thermometer in, and in matter of seconds (perhaps 10s) I got the readout

Used this to make Lamb for Christmas dinner this year and we wanted to cook to internal temp not to times. This was perfect. Went in the oven with the meat, was easy to read and being able to set the little dial to what you need was great. Measured temps against my electronic one and it was spot on every single time. When needed I will buy again. But I don’t think that will be any time soon as also very well made and put together

The on/off does not always work. Third use and it would not turn on. I rotated the cover of the battery compartment and it came on fine. I haven't figured if a long press vs multiple pressess is needed when the short press doesn't turn it on right away.That being said, it works well and is within 0.5°F of my other thermometer.
