I didn't exactly use these for what they were designed for, but they fit my needs perfectly. I cut the little tabs off the bottom with a dremel then I used jb weld to attach these to the lid of my toolbox. They hold my ratchets and extensions very securely and free up space in the box. I'm very happy with these.

The material I would picture is more of a rubberized feel to grip on the tool. 4 single station pcs may be my choice to set up the socket strip.

The clips snapped easily onto the rail but still seemed very secure once installed. I was surprised how well the clips accommodated anything I tried to put in them. You simply need to ratchet the clips to locations where they are adjacent to contours in the ratchet handle or extensions that provide the fit you desire. Although the items snap in easily they seem to be more than adequately retained. I wouldn't go swinging them around but, who would. I'm not sure what material they are made of but, to me, they seem to have a "soft" feel which adds to how smoothly the tool snaps into them. I thought the spacing between the clips may be a bit close but, with some creative orientation it was not an issue, even in a narrow drawer. All in all I can't think of anything they could do better.

I was initially disappointed when I broke the first clip while trying to attach it to the rail, but I called the manufacturer and was sent a replacement at no cost to me. The clips help me stay organized and I like them a lot.Manufacturer Warranty- Broken parts are replaced at absolutely no cost to you (stated on web site).- No questions were asked, Ron at Ernst Manufacturing even made a joke.- I placed the call at 12:42 PST on January 8th.- Replacement was USPS post marked the following day, January 9th (stated on web site).- Arrived in IA on January 12th (4 days time in transit).- The manufacturer has an excellent warranty process, and deliver what they promise.- Ron and the Ernst Manufacturing team did put a smile on my face, as promised.Pros- Great warranty and customer service!- Teeth keep the holders in their positions along the rail.- Securely holds extensions without making them difficult to removeCons- None, not even the fact that I broke the first clip I tried to installNotes- When the first clip broke, I was trying to push it down onto the rail like I did with the twist-lock clips. This took a lot of effort- To install the clips:1) Put something through the bottom section of one of the two extension holders.2) Simultaneously pull the clip away from the rail and down over the rail.3) Clip easily installs without breaking.
