I bought this to to use for my old mare who cribs on my pipe gate. It went on easy and I have not seen her crib since I applied it about 3 weeks ago. I have not had to reapply it yet. She also wears a cribbing collar, but I have not been successful in stopping her from cribbing on the gate.

I pickup my order from the Amazon locker that I’ve used for years. The bottle was packed in a plastic bag and then in a plastic Amazon shipping bag.The top of the bottle had come unscrewed and 1/2 of the bottles spilled out. I was able to salvage a bit of the liquid but was left with a total of 1/2 of a bottle. By the way, this product is made as an oral deterrent for horses, and it burns human skin. My hands and arms were burned from having to handle this product.

The actual anti chewing gel works great (I use it on blanket shoulders and rumps to deter some pesky blanket-biting geldings!), but don’t waste your time struggling to use the overly stiff and frustratingly inefficient applicator. It’s far easier to pour a bit where you need it and then use a small more flexible normal paintbrush to spread it around. You can also add ultrahot ghost pepper powder or carolina reaper pepper powder with a little water to the formulation to add some additional heat.Since this product is water soluble it washes off when it rains. Be sure to reapply soon after to maintain effectiveness. After a while I find you can reduce it or phase it out since the horses soon learn not to grab, bite and tear blankets.

You have to squeeze with every ounce of energy you have to get the product to come out. For price and problems, pass.

Product was not long lasting. Only worked for a day or two and then had to be reapplied.

Alas, like more crib stop products this has not worked.
