This has worked well for my totally blind pony. This pony is let out of stall all day in a good size safe paddock are. He has learned to find his way all day. Mask is light fits well and the brim offers some eye protection. He actually is very calm when you put it on him.

Our horse has retinal degeneration and wears this when out in the sun. He was able to break one clip, but it came with a replacement so it was easily fixed. Also ordered a few more clips for less than $5

Great quality. Seems to work well shading horses eyes from sun. Fit good like the adjustable straps.

I like this product. It is very well made, heavy duty, she cannot get it off. There are three straps, two with buckles and one Velcro. And it does not touch her eyes which probably is the main reason she does not try to get it off. Love the visor!! Horse size fits this foundation quarter horse perfectly. I did order an extra large the first time and had to reorder. Cris scratched her eyeball on round bale of hay so I wanted the visor specifically for shade but I would recommend it to anyone.

I needed a size for my mini horses as they have those blue eyes and pink skin and need high UV protection. They are close for a mini but not exact, more average pony size. The velcro needs to be longer or just a smaller dimension as I have to shorten by about 2 inches on each. I am going to keep them and make some sewing modifications as I do love the design and protection. Its a bit more work for my Class B mini whom is only 30" tall but I'll make it work. So hopefully the manufacturer will read this and make a true mini size and list this more of a Pony or even small Cobb. 😀 I'll post a picture once I make needed adjustments.

This masks really protects my horse’s eyes. He recently was diagnosed with an eye abscess, most likely caused by rolling in sugar sand and driving that sand right into his eye. Other fly masks didn’t keep sand out of his eye and would actually bother his eyelashes. After putting the mask on, I watched him roll and rub his head and neck in the sand, and then checked him over, and the mask didn’t buckle inward and no sand around his eye at all. This mask also protects his eye from the sunlight which is essential because of the medication I need to put in his eye 3 times a day. I bought a second mask to use when the other mask needs to be washed and is drying. Highly recommend this product…it is more expensive than most fly masks, but it is totally worth it.

The most sun protection for your spoiled horse. I was unsure of the neck strap so I cut it off and it still fits and stays on perfectly. High quality.

After going through a corneal graft, I put this mask on my horse as soon as we were able to remove the Recovery visor (made by by the same company) that she came home from NCSU Vet School Ophthalmology Surgical Hospital wearing. This solar visor mask is excellent in every way. It stays clear of her eyes, keeps the flies off, doesn’t rub, and stays put. The buckle straps are sturdy with plenty of room to adjust. Of course these masks must be carefully adjusted so that they are snug but not restrictive. I’m ordering a second mask now so that I have an equi-visor backup when one needs a hose off.Comes with instructions - more on the website. It also comes with an extra breakaway buckle. This product has made my horse comfortable, and that’s invaluable to me.
