About this item

  • [LE AUDIO] The AK3040Pro Max is the world's first USB C interface transmitter based on the Qualcomm platform. In addition to supporting the classic Bluetooth 5.4, it also matches the LE AUDIO of the Qualcomm S3 platform. We have made a lot of efforts to finally get it into the market for sale.Note: When both LE AUDIO and classic Bluetooth are supported on the receiving end, LE AUDIO has the highest priority and cannot be manually switched.
  • [Snapdragon Sound]We have also integrated Snapdragon sound from the classic Bluetooth of AK3040Pro Max, whether it is aptx voice or aptx adaptive sets (aptx hd, aptx ll, aptx, aptx loss), and we are fully compatible
  • [LC3 Audio Codec]The AK3040Pro Max is compatible with the Qualcomm chip LE Audio products on the market (other chip LE AUDIO products are not compatible due to industry technical issues), using LC3 encoding and decoding, low latency, and high sound quality, making gaming or listening to music compatible.
  • [AUROCAST BROACAST]When switching to broadcast mode, the AK3040Pro MAX can support N receiver sound devices, multiple speakers, headphones, and more. For this, we can lay out a multi-channel 3D sound system, and the distance from the transmitter can be up to 15 meters, and in some environments even up to 18 meters.
  • [AUDIO CODEC SWITCHING] Whether in classic Bluetooth or LE AUDIO mode, the AK3040Pro Max can match your needs with a click to switch encoding and decoding. In default mode, it automatically matches the optimal encoding and decoding of your terminal, and can be distinguished by the color of the LED lights.
  • [NETWORK conference calls]The Eppfun AK3040Pro MAX can support both traditional FPS calls and popular network calls. With the support of aptx voice, you can enjoy high-definition call sound quality. Similarly, in the game, you can enjoy this feature by double clicking the multifunctional button.
  • [Wide compatibility]The Eppfun AK3040Pro MAX transmitter is widely compatible with game console products such as DP function USB C interface phones, laptops, and PS5 in the market. The receiver supports Qualcomm chip headphones, speakers, and other products in the LE AUDIO mode, and almost 100% supports Bluetooth devices in the market in classic mode.

Product Description

eppfun AK3040Pro MAX INTRODUCE

The eppfun AK3040Pro MAX is the advanced Bluetooth transmitter released by eppfun that supports Qualcomm LE AUDIO and Snapdragon Sound, and is also unique in the global market.

This product continues the classic Bluetooth features of the first and second generation products, metaphorically supporting APTX adaptive encoding and decoding across the entire range, switching between encoding and decoding, and supporting LED color display for encoding and decoding.

The dual experience of high-quality music and low latency has always been the pursuit of the entire EPPFUN AK3040Pro product line. The currently released products belong to the third generation, and Snapdragon Sound and LE AUDIO are the biggest highlights of this product. APTX voice, aptx lossless, and others are supported This product can upgrade consumer devices such as smartphones and computers that do not support the latest technology to the latest audio technology. I believe consumers will be very satisfied with this product. I also hope that global consumers can experience it.

Currently, the only problem with Le Audio is that different chips of Le Audio devices in the global market are not compatible, so consumers need to pay special attention to this matter. The eppfun AK3040Pro MAX can perfectly support Bluetooth devices with Qualcomm solutions. Of course, classic Bluetooth is fully compatible and there are no limitations to Bluetooth solutions.

Don't pay attention to those negetive reviews. I've been using it for a week and everything working fine and no connection drops or anything. Codecs working as advertised. I am using it with my galaxy s24 ultra and it's a bliss.

This is one of 2 or 3 small form factor adapters I've found supporting aptx lossless. There are some quirks but it does work with my bose qc ultras. It also is the only one I've seen to support codec switching via hardware button instead of a driver setting. This is great for use on my work computer where I don't have privileges to install software. I use aptx lossless for music streaming, then switch to aptx adaptive low latency for calls. Note: if you use this with windows and Bluetooth classic, calls switch to hfp mode, dropping audio quality. I was hoping the snapdragon sound certification would preserve the high quality codec functions during calls, but apparently not. Maybe its something inherent with the MS generic audio input stack? Maybe LE Audio headphones would be better as they use a different set of profiles. As a work around, I use the laptop mic for sound and keep my headphones in aptx adaptive ll. Eppfun has releaseed firmware updates since my purhases and they has significantly improved stability in high res formats. Also, Ive had both support inqueries responded to with good answers. The reps English was a little rough, but it got the point cross. To Eppfun: Keep thoses patches coming! Also: see if you can make the classic bt based calls work better in windows. Using my aptx adaprive low latency would be a game changer ontop of game changing product. Let me know if you have questions or need a tester!

It works on my galaxy S24 Ultra plug & play since it was designed kind of like a USB DAC that connects to headphones automatically when plugged into USB socket from which it gets it's audio as any USB DAC or USB headphones but instead of outputting the source as analog audio it transmits it digitally over Bluetooth (it has a button on it to toggle between codecs if both devices support it with a single press through each codec), so as a external Bluetooth Transmitter without a screen you just need to enter your headphones into pairing mode and it connects just fine besides the fact that with my Cleer ARC 2 truly wireless earbuds only one side connects turned on, while the other be it left or right goes off and does not engage with the Transmitter (I don't know if this is common with other standalone Bluetooth transmitters when connecting to truly wireless earbuds or not). I have managed to "trick" my earbuds into turning on both coming on board and hearing audio through both of them, but so far it's tricky and seldom happens. As far as the device you're using be it a phone or other device with USB power and audio supply it doesn't matter since your device sees it as a pair of USB wired headphones with no adjustment besides volume and you can also see that it's outputting 48khz at 16bit depth and and not any 24 bit unfortunately so it's not really high resolution, but mostly CD quality as a DAC I think. And even though my Cleer ARC 2 say they support APTX lossless I only see green and white (aptx HD and aptX low Latency or Adaptive), but not red (APTX lossless) as I was writing this review I plugged it in, nothing happened and I did it again in a little while and I have sound in both ears in stereo, nice.

Paired with MW4, yes, aptX lossless works. It'll connect at lossless when a media is playing, but it worked probably a minute then audio drops out while staying connected. I have to pause and unpause to get the audio back. It was very frustrating to deal with the audio. There's no software configuration, everything is done through a single button. I'm very disappointed because I wanted a native USB-C 5.4 dongle that supports Snapdragon sound. Eventually I gave up and replaced it with FlooGoo FMA120 dongle, no more audio drops out.

Tried connecting my PS5 to my AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) and sadly they are not compatible together. Who knows, you might have better luck with yours.

At first I was very happy with this transmitter. Even though the instructions were vague and had typos it connected to aptX Adaptive immediately using Denon Perl Pros. Pressing the button once switched the codec to aptX Lossless which works but has issues with steady transmission. When it’s working fine the quality is excellent but I started to notice that there were occasional popping sounds or an odd back and forth between the stereo earbuds that didn’t sound like part of the final mix. It’s very rare to find a product that has these features as this is the latest technology so it can be even more difficult to find a product that can connect using the highest end connections this transmitter offers. While Adaptive worked just fine there was a BIG quality difference between it and the Lossless connection. I really wanted to keep them and pretend I wasn’t hearing that popping sound and odd audio drop outs. But ultimately I made the choice to return it.

Definitely is as advertises. Compared some songs samples with this transmitter against my ROG Phone 8. The clarity of Aptx Lossless was the same on both devices. Supports all Aptx codecs. Works great except seem to randomly mute on Lossless mode sometimes and pairing is not perfectEdit: after using it regularly. The random mute on Lossless mode has stopped
