It works! I did put a lot and all around the pipe junction where the hole was. Shower is no longer causing floor floods! 😀

One of the handles on our LG refrigerator broke in two places. I tried other liquid epoxy which didn't hold up well. Then I used a combination of the liquid epoxy and duct tape. That worked better, but the look wasn't very good.I used this Epoxy Putty on the handle and it's as solid as a rock now. I still have to do a little more sanding on the repair and find a paint to match, but the handle is very sturdy now (and the look is better than duct tape...lol). This Epoxy Putty comes in two containers (one contains the hardener). You have to knead the two parts together in order to use it. The only thing I didn't like about this was that the putty in each container seemed pretty hard to begin with. I was able to work the two parts together but it took a lot of kneading. Once it cures, it's rock-hard. Each container holds a good amount. I just hope that they don't get any harder in the container than they already are. It could be that it's just the nature of the product. Time will tell.

This is 1 lb of epoxy putty. 8oz of EACH component, 16 oz in all.I don't know why the web page says "Pool Putty". The description says “2 in 1 Underwater”.BUT the words "Pool", “Underwater available” and “2 in 1” do not appear on my jars or package. This epoxy says it is waterproof after it's cured, as pretty much all epoxy is, so I'm not sure that matters.Question: Can you repair a crack in a pool while submerged under water? There definitely is SOME epoxy which can do that. This one does not say it can be applied under water, on the product itself, or on the Amazon listing, so I would guess it's unlikely. You should confirm with the seller first, if that’s a requirement. This epoxy is a bit stiff in the container. It's putty, and it's cold. All epoxy putty I have ever used is the same, that’s normal. As you knead it together, it gets soft very quickly just from the heat of your fingers. If you would like it softer before kneading, stand the container in a bowl with an inch or two of hot water for a while before mixing it. Don’t get the epoxy itself wet.I tested a glob of this epoxy, measured by weight with a scale, for 1:1 ratio. It took a couple hours to be "set", not very squishy anymore. It felt quite hard in 12 hours. It was completely hard in 24 hours. It does not cure flexible at all, it's like rock.I snapped a piece in half with pliers. It was hard to break, and showed zero bend before it snapped in half. This stuff has no bad smells, and cleaning the sticky residue off my fingers from kneading it, required only washing my hands with soap and water. As far as epoxy putty goes, this is very good 24hr epoxy putty. 5 stars.-1 star becauseEven though the product states “waterproof”, the references and pictures of "2 in 1" and "Underwater available" are confusing because the actual product is not labelled like the pictures. The instructions say nothing about water, or what “2 in 1” means. Perhaps this is not “2 in 1” because the label doesn’t match the web page.

I recently tried out the DecorRom Epoxy Putty for a few home repair projects, and overall, I'm quite impressed with the results. I was initially drawn to this product because of its versatility and affordable price, and it definitely delivered on both fronts.Mixing the two components was straightforward, though it did take some effort to get them evenly blended. The putty is quite sticky, but that actually helped it adhere really well to the surfaces I was working on, including metal and plastic. I used it to patch up a long crack in between my house wall and driveway and it performed admirably. The putty hardened within a few hours and was rock solid by the next day. I also appreciated that there wasn’t any strong odor, which made the process more pleasant. While it’s not as convenient as the pre-mixed epoxy sticks I’ve used before, the amount you get for the price is a great value.Overall, this is a reliable product for various repairs, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a cost-effective solution to fix cracks or leaks around the house.I even purchased a second one for my household. Great quantity and quality!

I'm fixing a whole lot of rotting old wooden window frames. After gouging out the rot, I coat it with wood hardener and then fill in the gap with epoxy putty. Maybe some epoxy paste over that, sand it (or just sand the putty) and then paint. DecorRom's epoxy putty is working as expected.DecorRom's epoxy putty is more of a "pool putty" which means it's on the dense, tough-to-knead side. It's perhaps the hardest putty to knead that I've used so far (I've tried about four of them). On the bright side, they make part B dark gray so that when you knead it into part A (white) you can see how well you're blending it. All other brands use white and off-white. DecorRom cures into a light gray. Also, I believe it's curing a smidgeon harder than other pool putties.Compared to a product like Abatron WoodEpox, this is VERY tough to knead. It makes my hands very tired (strong, but older female hands). Still, it's a pretty good value. I last touched up my windows about four years ago and I'm coming across some old WoodEpox, and it's strikingly lighter and more porous than DecorRom. I hope this stuff lasts a little better. Some tips from an amateur DIY homeowner with rotting windows: If you MUST patch and repair your windows (like me), then buy some vinyl exam gloves and keep some rubbing alcohol around to clean your putty knives and fingers with. You only need a touch of water to unstick your fingers though when working with it. When you first put the putty into a gap, try to get it smooth and flat. Coat the putty knife with water and press the flat side firmly down on the putty, then slide or wiggle the putty knife free while pressing down. Keep the putty knife clean and wet as you work. This way, you'll have less sanding to do. A Dremel tool (or similar) with a 1/8 bit burr grinder set will help smooth down nooks and corners or re-chisel an edge so it looks flat and less hand-molded. Good luck!

This epoxy has been doing great outside holding lighting and a power supply on to brick and concrete surfaces. It's put up with rain and direct sun and still holding strong. Lately with colder weather it's also performing as intended. It mixes easily, especially as it warms up. I've just used my bare hands to mix it like a clay material until the two colors blend into one color smoothly. The little plastic scraper - pretty much useless. For one, you don't want to be using it for the different components, i.e.; scraping out some of Part A then digging right into the little pail from some Part B. It's important to keep both A and B separate until ready to use. So, if you want to use the little scraper, clean it off between A and B. However, it's flimsy and A and B are thick clay like material so it's not all that helpful.A good amount is provided for the price. One of the containers had a broken cap so I've needed to seal it in a bag to help keep it from drying out. For the DIYer around the house, it's a lot of epoxy.

This putty works great. It is easy to mix and hardens well. It is very convenient for certain jobs that are easier handled by a paste than a liquid. It can be formed before it cures and once cured it can be filed or sanded to whatever surface is desired. I have used used epoxy putty for over 40 years affixing reel seats to rid blanks. Once cured they are virtually impossible to separate from the blank without cutting them off. This stuff is really a time saver and cleaner to use than a runny epoxy for certain jobs.Damon M. Tatem
