Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love this resin less expensive and just as good. Gallon size is great I will definitely buy it again. It would be nice if they had included some of the pumps with the gallon size it's much more convenient and I would rather have pumps than the silicone cups that were included.

It includes two 0.5 gallon jugs (Part A and Part B), a pair of gloves, spreaders, and measuring cups that are marked with precise measurements for accurate mixing. These additional tools are a great bonus, especially for beginners who might not have specialized resin application tools. The instructions provided with the kit are clear and detailed, guiding users through the process of mixing and applying the resin. This makes it accessible for all skill levels. The self-leveling feature of the resin ensures a smooth finish, reducing the need for extensive post-application finishing.Given the quality of the materials and the comprehensive nature of the kit, this product offers good value for money. It is priced competitively, considering it includes not just the resin components but also the necessary accessories for application.

I used this epoxy resin kit for making pens, and I was impressed by the results. The resin is crystal clear and self-leveling, and it has a 1:1 ratio of resin and hardener, which is easy to mix. It is also bubble-free and high-gloss, and it cures fast and hard. It comes with gloves and spreaders,The resin is also versatile, and it can be used for other projects like arts, crafts, jewelry making, and wooden repair. It is toxic and flammable, and it needs to be handled with care. It has a weak smell, which may be unpleasant for some people. And nothing is perfectly UV resistant, so it may yellow over time -- no matter what they say.

First time user of resin. This was surprisingly easy to use and make things with. I love how many different uses it has in so many things. I have made so many things already and haven’t used half the bottles. It sets well and clear. I will definitely be getting more.

Epoxy is something that you have to do and build up experience. But it'll get very pricey when you make a mistake. Often i have to stabilize knots or fill holes in wood projects. I thought I would try to see if it made sense to use the name brand stuff on a small project for me. Tis epoxy acted just like every other brand I've used. It set in about 25 minutes in my cool basement (which is typical). I was easily able to mix in some paint to tint it.The mixing cups are nice. They are soft sided silicone so the hardened epoxy comes right out. They also include measurement markings. That's also nice because I've found that the crystal clear epoxies tend to not be forgiving when it comes to getting the ratio right. Nothing is worse than pouring epoxy and it doesn't set up because the ratio was wrong.I can't comment on just how clear it was but I can say there weren't many bubbles to deal with. I've had stuff I've bought at the big box stores that looked like swiss cheese after mixing. Over all I'm happy with the results. Large slabs are popular right now and they often has voids and such to deal with. I'll be ordering more of Resinfans epoxy as needed.
