The cord is rated for -40, but what really matters is the receptacle can still be easily attached and removed at this cold temperatures. Many cords have been rated for cold weather but the female end usually becomes very difficult to attach and remove, This one is good.

Got this to connect L1 charger from car to garage. Works great, nice and thick. Charger is a slow charger pulling 1kw/h so its not generating enormous amounts of heat but so far it's working great. The extension cable is fully outdoors in the rain/snow so far.

Just really needed a few more feet of cord and this did the trick, so I could plug in an EV charger cord. It's solid, and I'm happy with its appearance and quality.I've used it in the rain, too, and there have been no safety issues. Price was right and it plugged right in on both ends firmly.

Very heavy duty - and probably more than I need but definitely fit for purpose. I've been running an outdoor bbq smoker which pulls about 1500 watts and my regular heavy outdoor extension cord would get warm after an hour or so which is a sure sign that the cord is pulling more power than it should. This cord is heavy duty in every sense and will have no problem running all day if need be. So while my old power is fine for running power tools or an electric lawnmower, etc., this one will work for pretty much anything I could plug into it. If there is a downside, it's a very heavy and bulky cord which probably makes it more challenging to use for yard tools or portable devices and I would recommend lighter cords for those applications. Otherwise, 100% happy with purchase!

Ii have purchased this cord for emergency use or when I need an extra 3 ft cord. I am impressed with the quality of the cord. I have not yet used it but when I do I will update my review.

Really like the quality of this cord, it's very heavy duty but unwinds without twisting and is flexible for easy use. Because of it's long length the only improvement that would be helpful is if it had lights in the plug heads, on both ends, like some extension cords do that signal the cord has power running through it.
