Nope. Not 3/16 OD. It's actually 5mm. 4.76 mm equals .1875" (3/16")the .24 mm dimension was a non starter for model steam engine fittings. So, unless you enjoy rounding a mini drum mill around the business end of a fitting, be ware the world of "it's close enough" sales.

I used this copper tubing in a refrigerator compressor replacement. The tubing matched the existing tubing accurately. Very satisfied with this purchase.

It did not take me long to learn that 5/8 is not a common size for copper tubing.Finding a pipe bender for under $80 is a struggle (the affordable benders stop at 1/2" or smaller), so I went looking for 5/8" elbows. The big box hardware stores didn't have anything for me, but the A/C folks did. I either needed 5/8" (16mm) reducers to go down to 1/2" or 5/8" elbows so I could stay the same all around.I called plumber supply stores, and they did not carry 5/8 stuff, so they transferred me to the A/C guys, and they had it for me.A little pipe straightening, fire, solder, and we're cooling with fluid boys!I used this stuff on my liquid cooled wall mounted Diesel/Steampunk inspired build for my PC.
