These worked exactly as they were supposed to. I used them in our garage on a metal cabinet that holds tools. One of them is holding up a pretty heavy step ladder and the other one I used to hold some of my exercise things like a yoga mat and a hula hoop. They worked so well that we are ordering more to use in other places in the garage.

I have an air compressor in my shop. And I have added extra hose to it so I can reach beyond my shop when I have something that I need to air up and it’s outside. Needless to say, I don’t want the air hose laying around and getting Stepped on, driven over and getting messed up. So I use these magnets on the wall to my shop and hang the extra air hose on it. And to my surprise, it was strong enough to hold all the extra hose and not be falling off and I don’t have to put it back on All the time. So I really like them now. I pretty much put them on the wall, hung my hose and forgot about it. No hassle at all. Highly recommend them if you need to hang stuff but don’t want to punch a bunch of holes all over your shop

They worked OK, but would not hold much weight. Would not recommend them if you need them to hold more than a few pounds.
