These kits are individually packaged. The instructions are printed in color on glossy paper and easy to read. There's decent 6 strand floss, and plenty of it. The fabric is of good quality and the water soluble printing is legible with crisp printing and good contrast with the underlying fabric. There are 3 needles taped to the cardboard embroidery floss organizer. There are directions for all the stitches used, but it's better to watch a video for some of these. I personally use colonial knots instead of French knots as they are much easier to get a good result, in my opinion, and visually indistinguishable from French knots.I've completed a lot of these types of kits, and what I like about this kit in particular is the well printed instructions and the variety of stitch types for an interesting result. But maybe this set of kits might be too challenging for a beginner with too many types of stitches. Learn to do colonial knots! OMG they are better!Another tip is if you plan to do a lot of kits, invest in better needles. I got a pack of John James needles and there are other brands. I completed several kits with the included needles and they're ok, but better needles definitely are sharper and smoother.

These were my first foray into embroidery and they turned out great! I wish it came with three hoops though, since it has three pieces. I always has thread left over

I normally prefer cross stitch but down an Amazon rabbit hole I stumbled on this 3 pack of mountain scenes. They're quite adorable and progress is quick. It comes with only 1 hoop so if you wish to display your finished product that way, you'll have to pick up a couple more. I normally work on wooden hoops and was pleased with the quality of the plastic one the set came with. It tightens up great and the scew is better than the ones I already own. The function is so much better, I'm switching to plastic from now on! The design on the fabric is dissolvable so as you can see in my photo, part of the grassy area bottom left has worn away just from me manoeuvring the hoop to stitch. I'll have to pencil it back in so my circle doesn't come out wonky. The cute set of scissors the set comes with are no hell, dull as a banana! They're a nice touch though, really the set arrives with everything you need to begin. If you're looking for an easy, adorable project or are new to embroidery and want to give it a go, you can't go wrong with this set. Excellent value for your money.

Very nice kits except for the instruction on the different stitches. The writing and pictures are too small. I need to use a magnifying glass to read them. I don't really like having the thread cut in lengths or not having a number for the color in case you run short. I know I am getting pretty picky but if it helps to get the company correcting some of my suggestions for the next bunch, they will have happier buyers, mainly me....lol

More than enough embroidery floss, always have several strand left over. They give u 2+ needle per package so u have extra too. Needles are pointy but dull and has lots friction on the fabric. The sewing instruction doesn't have the exact stitches used, but it's simple enough to look up online .

This is a great kit for beginners. It comes with everything you would need and more. For example the scissors and extra needles or really helpful to have and also plenty of extra string. I do recommend googling some of the threading instructions for the pattern because the pictures are a little confusing but every single name was easy to google and a 15 second video that explains it perfectly. This has taken me a while to finish even one but it’s a great thing to do or watching TV. I gave it four stars because the directions aren’t great but other than that I thought as a beginner it was a pretty good kid especially for the value. Also I would suggest googling how to separate the threads of string, there are six threads in each piece of string. When you read the instructions you’ll notice this no I don’t think any design requires all six threads. So I suggest googling the best way to separate your threads so they don’t get tangled. Otherwise you’re gonna lose string and/or get really frustrated trying to untangle it.

I just started embroidering and this kit was perfect to get me going. I started with the green flowers which was great for learning a ton of new stitches. Plus it was pretty simple yet a really beautiful design. I didnt use the pictures on the back for instruction, instead I turned to YouTube which was far more straight forward. The cactus was my second project, this one was more difficult and time consuming but manageable. I did run out of the yellow/green thread that was used as a stain stitch on one cactus and adorned other cactus as well. Luckily I had bought a floss kit and found that color in there. I am now onto the orange and yellow flower pattern which so far seems like it'll be the quickest! If I were to put an order out there for beginners I'd say:Green flowers (to get a good grasp on stitches)Orange flowers (quick and only uses 2 new stitches)CactusI am absolutely addicted to embroidery now and am so happy I got this kit to get me started. Just what I needed in quarantine!

I had never embroidered prior to purchasing this kit, and I am really satisfied with my purchase! The directions aren't very helpful (at least not for me), but I have just been YouTubing each stitch and it's super easy now that I've gotten the hang of it. I have completed one pattern so far and am halfway through another. There is plenty of thread left over from the first pattern, which I plan to use for future projects that I freehand. I think the thread, embroidery fabric, and materials are all pretty good quality especially for the price, but I also don't know really anything about embroidery so don't trust me on that! Bottom line: patterns are cute, easy, and it seems to be worth the money. Will purchase more of these types of kits if I suck at free handing!

An awesome set that includes everything you need for an equally amazing price. I've bought single design kits that cost more than this 3 pack and have been disappointed by the fabric quality, floss quality, and instructions. The fabric in this kit is thick and sturdy. The floss are well saturated in color and are easy to thread in the provided needles. The designs are so cute and just hard enough to keep a beginner happy and not frustrated with the complexity. The needles are on the thicker side and are very beginner friendly as well.I just wish the kits came with 3 frames (whatever those are called) as opposed to just one that you have to use for all 3 designs. I wouldn't mind if they charged a few dollars more and included those frames for each individual design.Aside from that, I will 100% repurchase once I finish the other 5 designs I purchased!!
