The quality is really good and I’m not sure if this is placebo playing on me, but I feel like play better with it. I just struggled a little with placing it on my violin but after I figured it out, everything was nice and firm.

So, we recently bought a fullsize violin online for $40. As you may expect, this didn't come with the best materials. The chin rest was this black plastic chin rest that was cheaply made. We were just starting to learn the violin so we didn't expect or understand about buying something better until this came across us. This chin rest is so much better in general. It comes with leather cutouts that you can use to cushion the chin rest and metal bars from the body of the violin.

Perfect size and replacement for my son’s viola. He loves it and enjoys playing the instrument more. It was far more difficult to remove the original chin rest that came with the instrument than to install this new piece. Definitely a good buy 👍🏼

My daughter is a first year violin learner and her violin did not come with a chin rest so I had to order her one. I really like the chin rest and I think it’ll look great on her violin! My daughter approached me wanting me to say thank you so much for the personalized note and the string wipe, she can now get rid of her old falling apart one.
