Quality Product. Very good design as it allows flexibility to be used onthe built in flash (which is what I use it mainly for) and external flash. It folds up easily and fairly comatct and can fit in my camera kit or even your pocket. Value was good compared to others on the market which were poor quality. I took one star off due to poor delivery as it was delivered to wrong house and I had to take time to track it down.

If you are using a smaller flash unit or the pop-up flash built into your DSLR or Mirrorless camera, this is a great accessory for softening the effect of the flash. The diffuser is 3.75 inches square which makes is small enough to fit on some of the more compact mirrorless cameras and flash units. It folds flat and will even fit in your shirt pocket. Very clever design.

It works well but you have to constantly readjust it. So that is a little annoying. But it works well for the price you get what you pay for

Worked great with the pop-up flash on my nikon D800. Impressive results with portraits and closeup macro work. It's easy to fit in a few seconds. TIP - fold the sleeve that fits over the pop-up IN NOT OUT. This gives the sleeve the rigidity to keep the box pointing straight, not down.

This seemed like a great idea and I really wanted to like it. It does what it is supposed to do for the first shot or two, but as soon as I move to adjust my position, it just falls off. I am using it on a pop up flash so it might work better for an attached flash. If it had a clip so it could attach to the camera it would be perfect.

Does a commendable job of diffusing light from the pop up flash on my Nikon D610. Definitely works better than other types that use a shoe mounted plastic shield as a diffuser. It has allowed me to successfully use the pop up as a fill flash under circumstances where the glare from the pop up flash alone would have rendered the photo unusable. Of course it's not a substitute for studio lighting or a speedlight bounced off a ceiling, but it makes a difference when traveling light and is a great value for the price. Not sure how durable it will prove to be under frequent use, but then again it was $13 and they offer a 3 year warranty.

Exactly what I didn't know I needed. I had no idea what a difference a soft box could make until a friend suggested I get one. Now, I can take flash close-ups of my cat without the dreaded red-eye. Since buying this, I have discovered that all of my indoor photos are improved by the soft box. Amazingly, I have used it with great success for macros of tiny mushrooms on dark days in the woods. As if that weren't enough reason to buy one, this particular soft box collapses into a small flat package that easily fits into my speedlight bag or camera case. This is one of those simple, inexpensive accessories that, now that I have discovered it's true value, I would never be without.

This is an awesome way to always have a softbox in your camera bag. While this item will not stand up to repeated rough handling, it's perfect for those times when diffused light is needed. This is a great learning tool for someone just learning about lighting and is inexpensive enough for someone wanting to make their family pictures a bit better. Both the tripod and soft box take up very little room in a camera bag or knapsack and are quick and easy to use. Definately worth having for the price.
