I was glad to find a metal version of this piece for my Chevy Cruze. I have replaced the plastic originals twice in 10 years. This should eliminate that for the remaining life of the car. It was well made and fit perfectly.

As the title says, Chevy should have installed this aluminum inlet from the jump. If you have a little better than average knowledge, this will be a piece of cake to install.

The housing was an exact replacement for the cheap OEM plastic one. 1 star off because the included hose is the wrong length and shape. I trimmed it off and made it work, but it's not even close to right for my Trax. I would buy again though. Had it for 2 months with no leaks.

This version is SO MUCH better than the originally factory installed plastic version. After having to replace the original one, twice (w/plastic ones), I haven't had to replace this one, thus far. It's better quality, budget friendly, easy to install & has outperformed the plastic ones, already.

The fit and function appears to be fine. I'll update if there are future issues.GOT TIRED OF CHANGING OUT PLASTIC OUTLETS EVERY TWO YEARS BECAUSE THEY HEAT WARP AND START LEAKING. PLASTIC CANNOT TAKE THE HEAT OF A TURBO CHARGER COOLANT RETURN.

Nearly two years later, still holding up great. Just had to replace the O ring on the top plastic part.Then I ended up replacing the plastic part with a metal one I made myself.

This is by far the worst product i have ever received through amazon, and I've been using it for 6 years. The product looked like it had been used but cleaned very poorly. Every single O-ring seal was the wrong size and would have made a horrible seal resulting in a worse leak than I am currently experiencing. The clamp on the hose was bent, if i had not caught this and installed it, coolant would have sprayed all over my engine bay and probably resulting in damage. You are better off betting your 30$ on green at the casino.

Got this alloy upgrade to replace plastic part that had started leaking in various places. 100% better & not as costly as original plastic part. Even looks better & no hassle to fit.

I love my 2014 Chevy Cruze LTZ and want to keep it for a long time to come. So when I got an overheated engine one day, I was dismayed, only to see the coolant reservoir nearly empty! I investigated and found the leak near the upper connection to the Water Outlet Valve assembly, and after some research apparently these parts go bad on pretty much every car they're installed on...I liked the look of the aluminum housing, and placed the order. Very well packaged, complete with necessary bolts, an extra hose to connect to the reservoir, and even a pair of blue latex (or nitrile?) gloves that made it easy to keep my hands from getting so greasy.I had watched a few YouTube videos on how to drain/flush/bleed the coolant, and with the right equipment it was an easy job. I was nervous that the actual removal and install would take much longer than the videos indicated, but I had the whole thing swapped out, new coolant installed, and checked out in under 2 hours.Construction is excellent...hope it gets me more than 85K miles like the first plastic one!

La refacción original es de plástico lo cual provocó fugas de anticongelante, esta que compre es metálica lo cual da mejor rigidez .
