Airator works for days on low with junky Amazon battery's in it. I ran it for a week with Duracell batteries. Also when the car charger is plugged in it will automatically switch from battery power to the plug power. It will not automatically switch back though. You have to turn it off then back on when you unplug it. Keeps water cold for minnows for about 12 hours in direct sunlight mid summer. It also keeps water from freezing for days.

Great little bait bucket. Used it once so far and it kept a half pound of minnows alive without any problem. Much better than the old bait buckets. The bubbler works great and the hose doesn’t fall off like the bucket I have. Like the net as well for getting minnows out when I don’t have a little dip net.

Engel builds the absolute best live cooler there is. The airline port is on the top of the lid. This is important because it reduces the chances of leaks. I have traveled with my cooler inside my truck for hundreds of miles from the bait shop without a single drop of water leaking out of the cooler. Some of the competitors put the airline port on the side which is poor by design. That design limits how much water you can and if the water sloshes ITS GOING TO LEAK. Not on the Engle though. You can add water nearly to the very top and the cooler simply will not leak. The cloth strap and the design of its attachment to the cooler is genius. The strap wraps all the way under the bottom, providing full weight support onto the strap. This is important for the durability of the cooler since the weight is not carried by attachment points on the side of the cooler. I have zero worries about my cooler breaking because of the attachment method. The cooler is insulated and the water stays cool even on the hottest days. Engel builds lifelong coolers that you will be very happy with.

I have used this bait keeper several times. Bait remains alive the entire time it is in the cooler. Aerator on/off switch is easy to trip. Recommend getting a different aerator. Lid is heavy so cooler will fall over if empty. Latches will not lay flat against cooler when not latched. It is a bit annoying as the latch will lock the cooler from time to time when I don’t want it to lock. Still, very happy with purchase.

This thing works great, perfect size! The battery lasted 5 days!! Two D cell batteries, I was surprised! Great purchase and one of the best aerator and cooler combo!

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this but after using it as much as I have I am very impressed. It was delivered fast and well packaged. There are 2 setting on the aerator and I've found the low setting works very well for me. The battery life on the low setting lasts for more than 24hours. The bait stay fresh and alive. Well worth it.

Although this is a good quality cooler the aerator is not so great. The bracket to hold it on on broke first trip out in colder weather and the aerator is choppy and loud. For the price I'm happier with my fra bill.
