These are quite difficult to install. However, there's no problem with excess vibration or harshness, and these will not fail quickly, as the OE style rubber junk ones do. It's worth the cost and effort to use these.

Stop messing with rubber mounts that tear quickly, especially if off-roading and order these. Only issue I had was with the lower bolt on each side. Had to flatten the “swell” of the urethane on the bottom of both mounts, as once it got to the swell or hump.... the side of the bolt head pushed into urethane making it a pita to get wrench back on. Slight modification fixed that.

This is a must if you own a second generation S10 or Blazer with a 4.3L engine don’t waste your time with anything else plus they install easier than the factory type mounts with the metal cage.I have used this mount since 2017 on my ZR2 5 Speed, Blazer Xtreme automatic transmission and Blazer LS with no failures!

Less than 500 miles and left mount has completely melted out of truck please send replacement. Heat shield was in place, should not have happened.

Does the job, replacing both broken OEM mounts. Jack up the vehicle and remove the front wheels. You will need to access the motor mounts through the fender well and to a lesser extent from underneath. An engine hoist will make the job easy, but it could probably be done with some blocks & bottle jacks. Do the driver's side first. It has all the brake lines in the way and is a challenge. That way when you do the passenger side you will be happy at how quickly that goes.Definitely a more robust product than the OEM ones they replaced.
