So my Firebird was doing the good old shifter jump game lately and I knew what I needed and I knew what I was going to get, because I have installed probably 10 of these in the vehicles of my own and others over the years and it is excellent. I was a little nervous reading other reviews because of their comments about vibration, but I think it’s more likely in their cases is that they have a problem and that firm new mount is revealing it, not the cause. The only downside is that I looked at my motor mounts and they also need replaced, ha.

Not much to say. It does its job quite well. Its stiffer than the factory mounts. It does transfer more vibration up through the drivetrain than the rubber style, although I would classify it as marginal.

Easy to install, all new nuts and bolts. It's a solid part that withstands a good amount of punishment, hope my wife doesn't see this ...lol

If you order this for a camaro get ready to hate it.. you can feel every single vibration the car has to the point it feels like something is wrong.. I took the plate off it seemed to help some but your definitely gonna feel everything with the poly mount.. don't buy this unless you need it for higher horsepower applications..

Just the part i needed and fairly easy to install. Of course, getting under a Camaro is no easy thing, even with ramps, but once under there it was a simple matter of unbolting a few bolts and replacing the mount.

Installed without issues on a 2001 Camaro SS with T-56 transmission. Nice firm mount that provides more control than original rubber (soft) mount. Fit perfectly and installed in minutes. Use the original bolts to mount the bracket to the transmission, and the one provided for the cross member.Update: After several drives, I do notice that there is somewhat more engine vibration penetrating the chassis / cabin, but it's a fair trade for the performance improvement. Driveline feels more firm and the stick doesn't "hop around" much anymore.
