The bushing came in handy because aftermarket coilovers have different size strut mount bushings. Great price and shipping was fast. A+ seller

The instructions do not specify what the 4 little caps are for but they are for the top hat of the struts. The part where you see from the engine bay.

This part 16.8102G or 16-8102G fits the 1996 Honda Civic Ex. Seems to work great, key to the longevity of these bushings is grease (energy 9.11104 or 9-11104). The greasing process is very messy, wear rubber gloves. These bushings seems to be holding up well, only time will tell how well they hold up. The car is a spiritedly driven and a daily driver.

O.K. I actually bought these. I'm sure they will work fine. Urethane in compression works great. Um, what I would like to know is: Why Amazon lets billions of companies foist counterfeit crap on consumers, allows trillions of fake reviews ("works amazingly great" says the reviewer will 129 five star "works amazingly great" reviews on one day X a billion) to be posted, yet this product with three 5 star reviews and one 1 star review gets a 2.5 star average? Hello? It seems the democratization of information is a bit of a sham. Right Comrades? Sorry Jeff, It needed to be said.

Always use es brand bushings where applicable. For durability and performance these are the way to go they are much more solid than the oem style bushings. If comfort is what you want look elsewhere.

Not sure why ES doesn't have these included with their Front LCA bushing set. Whatever. These were ripping apart near the center causing some slight noises after 160,000 on them so replaced them and then went ahead and did the FLCA set too so this whole section would wear the same as it did to this point. It's nice to have the firm ride back again. Thought I wouldn't be replacing these ES bushings, but apparently they DO wear out too. Oh well not a biggie.
