Either not 1500 mAh batteries or I received a bad set. They barely last one day, if you forget to turn off the camera.

I needed some more batteries for my Nikon D5300 and way to charge them on the go. This little charger is absolutely perfect. I will admit, the USB connector is quite interesting and doesn't look like a normal USB plug...but it fits into the port and charges the batteries as normal. I also like the charging indicators letting you know how full or empty the battery is while charging.The batteries have performed great over the past few months. I knew it was time to get some new batteries since my old ones only lasted about 20-30 minutes versus these new ones that gave me well over an hour (and that includes using the WiFi feature on my camera to transfer photo's to my phone).Overall, I highly recommend this kit!

My wife has a 5600 and I have a 3100, and both get a lot of use when we travel. This is great for its versatility (USB A and C fit all our needs; the micro-USB is seldom seen these days). I usually charge it from out laptop but of course if you have a wall-plug charger and want to carry around a bunch of cables, that works also. We really like the state-of-charge display for estimating when to change batteries. And you won't find two batteries any cheaper, not to mention the charger.Recommended, would buy again.

The batteries work just as well as the name brand batteries I have. The dual charger works well with both the included batteries as well as the original name brand batteries I have. Charges very quickly too.

I got this battery kit for my D5100 to have backups, they work great and cost a lot less than the OEM, and the charger is much better than I had expected. This is a great set, if you're on a budget and don't have a problem with using 3rd party batteries these will work fine for you.

I don't do enough photography to wait until these batteries run down to write the review. I prefer to review when fresh on my mind and edit later if it turns out differently than I expected. I really like this battery/charger set. It is very easy to use. It has the ability to charge by virtually any means you can come up with. That means I don't have to find a particular charging device or cable because this accepts about everything. I did want to get an idea of the level of 'juice' that they hold, so I put a card in my camera that would hold 300 shots on the settings it was on. I clicked off 300 shots with each battery, and neither had budged off of the 'fully charged' mark. I didn't push it further because I wanted to save clicks on my camera. The one caution that bothered me a bit was the very final paragraph of the instruction booklet. In a special statement it says that service after the sale is only available purchased directly from KASTAR. If you have a problem with a set bought elsewhere, then you have to take it up with the seller. So be aware of that if it is important to you. But I am very pleased with what I consider to be a quality set of batteries and charger.

I have been really getting into photography on my Nikon D5100 but the thing about it that kills me is that either the battery is really old or the camera just has poor battery life, so I opted for this 2-pack of batteries. They are fantastic and have amazing quality. Using the USB-C charger, they charge very quickly and last for multiple days and shutters. I love the charging dock and ability to charge 2 batteries at once. The indicator is also a nice feature and accurate. I have to say this is a must have from the average camera user - enthusiast.
