I bought this to see what what clogging up my 4" storm drain pipe. Found the problem.Next, I used it to see how a wall of our church was constructed before doing some work. Found a metal beam that would have prevented us from drilling a hole through the wall before we made unnecessary holes that we would of had to patch up.These cameras are very helpful, have hundreds of uses, and this one was cheap enough that it was a no-brainer to buy. This model does not record so you must view the screen IRL. There is no way to save the results for documenting if that matters to you, it didn't to me.I've used it working on cars, looking in hard to see places, even used it to look inside my ear.....you know you'll want to try that when you get it.I've used this type of cameras before I retired. They were very expensive and much longer reach with lots of features. Yes, there are better cameras out there but for the price point this one fit my needs and the clarity was very good.The 'camera tip' does not have the capability to move around like the top end boroscopes do, like you see the police in the movies use. You can angle the tip before insertion and spin the unit to see just about any angle you need though. I would buy this unit again if I needed to replace it.

This is such a fantastic tool to have and be able to use to look at the crevices and places such as plumbing and electricity. I use this to help me guide my cables for my new plugs in my home without having to break a big part of the wall. With this endoscope I was able to see exactly where I needed to put my cables through and how long. This is such a game changer and makes work easier. I love the flexibility of the cable and how sturdy and strong it is while being able to move it around. Those adapters that come with it are definitely helpful and can make a difference between a decent job and a great job. The light that comes with it is pretty bright to make things easier to see and the focus lets me see exactly what I want to see. Very pleased with the functionality and quality of the product!
