It's Great! It has everything your beneficiaries need to know and then some, once you fill out the questions.

This book has several sections to serve as a guide where detailed information can be left for our next of kin. A lot of it will be written in pencil because I can see it changing from year to year. The paper is a bit thin/see-through, so I hesitate to use pen anyway since I think it may bleed through.Once this book is complete, it is going to be full of quite valuable information, but I will plan to keep it in a safe because it is literally everything. Plus the information can change, so I will be making a plan to check it every year to do updates. For the updates, if pencil is not sufficient, I will likely add sticky notes. The best part of this book is that it creates the conversation with loved ones, provides the structure to make sure that these essential elements are captured and when somebody needs it, they will have it. I had attempted to put this together digitally, but I decided a written document was better because of the organization that comes with the tabs. This is an effective tool to ensure my family has everything they need to close accounts, transfer money, where all the accounts are and what they are named. I also appreciate the final wishes and notes section.

Perfect price and very well categorized. I recommend that everyone have something like this kept in a safe place. I recommend using a pencil to enter in details so they can easily be changed as needed.

I'm currently settling my mom's estate and that got me thinking about how I'd like my loved ones to be prepared when my time comes. I decided to get this planner because it seemed to cover all the bases like finances, property, medical info, last wishes, etc. So far I think it was a good buy. It even has lists of who to contact. That was personally something I dropped the ball on. I was so consumed by grief that I forgot to invite certain people to the memorial. I didn't have the focus or clarity to remember them. At best, I would've been going through my phone or my mom's phone looking for familiar names and that's a lot when you're handling arrangements and trying to keep it together. Since I'll be capturing names and numbers of people who should be contacted, I'll be saving my loved ones the burden of that. The only concern I have is that this planner will ultimately contain a lot of sensitive information like account numbers, balances, usernames, passwords, locations of sensitive documents and keys, etc. If it got into the wrong hands, it would be very easy for someone to access your money and accounts. It should probably be kept in a safe deposit box, safe, or some other protected area and one or two people should know the location and how to access it. This should be a suggestion in the planner. This isn't the kind of thing you'd want someone to stumble upon but, at the same time, you don't want it hidden where your loved ones have a hard time finding it.One suggestion I have is to make this a discbound planner where the pages can be removed or added without ripping out the pages. If you could remove the pages, the sensitive info could be stored separately while making the general info available. That would allow your loved ones to get started with the immediate arrangements like cremation/burial decisions and then later, when the pages with the sensitive info are retrieved, they can make calls on the life insurance policies, bank accounts, retirement accounts, etc.

As someone who works in a law firm and handles a lot of estate planning matters, I can say this planner has great content. It allows users to document important and necessary information in an organized way, which is incredibly helpful. However, the design could be improved. It would be much more practical if it were structured like a three-ring binder, allowing pages to be removed and replaced as needed. Life and circumstances change, and this planner doesn’t accommodate updates without ripping out pages or crossing things out. This planner is ideal for someone truly at the end of their life, but it’s less practical for those with many years and potential changes ahead. That said, the quality is excellent, and it has a professional, executive look. With a more flexible design, it would be perfect.
