This covers all the bases for me. The frame and clear section are plastic but, to me, it doesn't make the shadow box look cheap. Someone mentioned that the clear plastic was scratched but it does come with plastic protection sheets on it, perhaps that's what looked scratched to that reviewer.

Like the shadow box version, as I can store the Disney pin covers within the frame and it is a cool addition to the overall look. Also like that if you don't want that look the "depth" can be taken out and make it a normal frame not a shadow box, always love flexibility! Should fit around 12 or so Official Disney pins which is plenty for my small collection.

Had a lot of band art pins, great way to display them since I feel too old to wear them.

As a pin display, this product will do. The frame and spacer seem to be constructed well enough, and the pins stick securely into the foam core board that holds them. The glass” is not glass; rather it is plexiglass/plastic. However, please note that the plastic has a protective film on both sides that is not readily apparent. I initially thought the “glass” was cheap plastic with visible rub marks and striations, but I discovered today that there was actually a clear protective film on both sides, and once I figured out how to remove that film, I found that the plexiglass is crystal clear!
