For quick color mixes of acrylic paints, I use a lot of small paint pots of varying sizes. I miss the Skyway brand of small 5ml paint pots because they had three tabs that made them easy to open with thumb in the middle and two fingers on either side. No longer available anywhere it seems, so I've been searching for replacements. Finally, these 6ml pots saved the day.They ma take some effort to close, but never so much that you have to put pennies in your cuss jar. It just requires a little focus is all, once you get used to them. NOTHING this small, if you NEED something this small, is going to be THAT easy to open and close with big adult fingers. It's a good fitting lid once it's shut.Opening: It's those two tabs that impressed me. They're not thin flat tabs that bend easily when trying to open the lids. They're designed with some structure so that the stay more rigid and do the job. I'm glad I bought a bunch. Check the close up photo and you can see.

I found these so useful for classroom painting. I asked the kids to do their best to keep the paints clean. The pots sealed well and the paint stayed fresh. Very economical and no wasted paint!

Just remind yourself that 6ml the size of this container is only 1ml more than a level teaspoon. I bought them for leftover oil paints, but immediately realised they were too small for what I required. Ones I’ve used successfully before were from The Works and a perfect size. I had to return these because I knew they would become a white elephant in the cupboard. Otherwise they were ok for the money. It’s not that I don’t recommend them, it’s just important to be aware how very small the tubs are.

Worked great for holding acrylic paint and glue for a kid's project completed online. I cut these in half using a pruner, and each kid got 4 pots. At first, I was concerned the tops would pop open in transit, but they held tight! Would purchase again.

The smaller pots were not big enough for the amount of paint needed for the pieces I was selling. These are twice the size. An extra bonus is that they came already opened, saving time when going to fill them.

I really like these for storing paint for paint kits that I make. My only complaint is that they are really difficult to fully close.
