Was not the advertised item.It was some off brand Not Emerson. Did not last. After it failed it would not come out of the pilot assembly. The parts supplied to hold the Thermocouple in the pilot assembly were not brass. The cheap metal had a dielectric reaction & seized in the pilot assembly. Will extra cost when you have the hassle of finding a new pilot assembly.

Not entirely universal. Threaded connector end will not fit in oven gas thermostat. To be truthful, the packaging does not say anything about cooking appliances.
