Tried it in 2*F wearing only thin sweat pants and thin sweat shirt. Worked great. Began warming in minutes and kept me warm. Could’ve easily stayed in this for hours in a real survival situation with no worry of hypothermia. Could still feel the cold on my back from the ground though. Putting anything between myself and the ground would definitely fix this. There was no wind when I tested this. So not sure how well it would hold up in windy, extreme cold conditions. Very strong material. I was able to sit down, stand up, and curl up in it without any tearing. Black from seam tape did start to come off a little in one area. Did not affect function though. Designers are geniuses. They took a regular oversized Mylar blanket and taped it into a sleeping bag. All the years I’ve done winter, outdoor hiking and camping I’ve never thought of this. Definitely a keeper.

I used this as a liner in my sleeping bag, when I slept in my car, at 7 deg F - as a gear test for an upcoming trip on the AlCan highway. I did wake up with cold in the middle of the night and had to re-warm the water bottle, but this liner made a significant and noticeable difference. I know because as I was getting back in, and the liner had condensation on the inside, and I tore a hole through it with my toe as it got hung up on the side. I could feel a cold spot after that. I guess the lesson is - be mindful of the condensation on the inside and have several of these with you if going on a long trip in a remote area.

I bought the double pack with four emergency sleeping bags for my family and I. ..I like The little bag it comes in. Makes it easy to put in a backpack doesn’t take up much room And you can tie it on the outside of your backpack. I totally recommend this and it’s worth the money very durable as well and good quality and very lightweight

I have been seeing ads on line for this type of sleeping bags. I want to be prepared for the upcoming winter weather. These are a great size and lightweight yet provide necessary warmth and waterproof protection in the event of a weather emergency. Two years ago many in our area were without power for days and frigid temperatures. Also will keep a few in my car in case we are stranded by blowing snow. I bought from Amazon because of the price and return policy in case I was disappointed in the product. I definitely will be keeping them. Best to be prepared

The sleeping bag felt damp inside after a short time, making it uncomfortable to sleep in. It also started to smell, especially in colder temperatures below 5°C

The product looks fine but it is advertised as two sleeping bags and there is only one in the package.
