I loved the skill level. Not too complicated, yet still an enjoyable challenge. I'm on my second of the three. The printing is perfect. The color guide is occasionally unclear, and I ran short a strand or two on each project...but it wasn't anything I couldn't work around...but don't waste your thread or you'll run short. I love the colors. They're better in real life. There's even a small stitch (some, not all) guide in each kit, so beginners can start with very little prior instruction. All the materials are great quality. And everything fits into a gallon baggie for waiting-room crafters like me.

I love this little kit! The directions are super easy to follow, even as a beginner, and I love the color palettes.I love how easy to see the pattern is and how sturdy the fabric is. They give extra materials for mistakes as well. Wonderful gifts or treat yourself craft. Great value for the price!

I've done many kits like this. This isn't the worst of them, nor is it the best. I don't like that it only comes with one hoop. If you want to display all four of the designs in hoop form, expect to buy more hoops yourself. It comes with one bamboo hoop, which works fine, but I prefer grooved plastic ones that have come in other kits because they hold MUCH more tightly to the fabric. I have a plastic one I reuse and then transfer the pattern to bamboo when I'm done with it for display purposes. I'd also recommend buying smaller needles than this comes with for everything except the 6 stranded french knots. The smaller needle will give you much better control over what you're stitching than the gigantic needles it comes with. Though they will work if you decide to use them. Lastly, it can be a little hard to interpret some of the design, though by nature there is some artistic license to be had. That said, as an example, the flower on the far right is supposed to be three different sizes of french knot, 6 strand, 4 strand, and 2 strand. Can you tell from the zoomed in photo what's supposed to go where? There's a subtle difference in the sizing of the bubbles but it's very hard to make out. All in all the kits is still enjoyable though and I do like the patterns. I am looking forward to stitching these.

This kit is decent, but you might end up having to look up some instructions. The needles weren't amazing either, but they were adequate. The designs are very pretty, though. Please note, it does not come with four hoops. You will have to get more if you want to display each of these.

Not all that high quality of materials, but a good kit for learning. Instructions are fairly straight forward and easy to follow.It is easy to use and has everything you need to get into embroidery.Worth a buy.

Beautiful patterns and colors, with great quality products... really good quality cloth, thick with a nice close weave; good embroidery thread in color and strength; and great quality bamboo wood hoop- sturdy, smooth, with a very nice appearance. I have done lots of cross stitching so I've worked with this type of medium before, so I have a sense of how to work with threads and fabric etc. and was impressed with this kit.But also, since I have worked with this type of medium I wasn't a complete beginner- that helped me with being able to read/understand the instructions, including reading behind the lines of things that were not clearly explained in the written directions. If you are a COMPLETE beginner and have never done any sort of needle work, you will probably want to watch a couple of YouTube videos first.That being said, this is fantastic kit, beautiful, great to work with and I am very happy with it!

I really should do this more…makes for a perfect afternoon activity alongside a hot cup of chai or coffee. This set is exquisite, comes with instructions and the needed string to do all the embroidery. So fun and relaxing! Makes for a great gift too.
