A few weeks ago, I got a Honda Pilot. Turns out, it had a cassette player. I had recently found this device again after it being lost for around 2 years. it was in an old shed filled with other stuff. Through the hot and the cold, it held up great. I tested it, PERFECT sound quality as when I first bought it. Overall, it's durable, sounds great, and i would definitely recommend. 10/10. Thank you, Elook for this perfect device.

It doesn’t have super clear sound quality, but between playing it directly from my iPhone and trying to hear it with car noise versus plugging it in, I’d rather plug it in and hear.

The sound quality is great; way better than expected. The gears inside did make a little noise, but you could only hear it if the volume was all the way down. I removed the 6 screws, split the case open, and put a real light coat of grease on the gears. No more noise! It still gets 5 stars because it sounds great and you could only hear the gears when the volume was all the way down.

I’ve been wanting to add Bluetooth to my 4Runner, but except for not having Bluetooth the factory radio was great. I went to Amazon just looking for a wired cassette adapter like I have used in the past. I went to Amazon to see how much they went for, and to my surprise, it comes in a Bluetooth version. It works great. The instructions were simple. I had it up and running within four minutes for unboxing . The only thing I regret is that I didn’t look more into it. It turns out they also make them with a microphone for hands-free phone calls. I didn’t even see that as an option, but I was what I was looking at the first time. I had forgotten about the fact that my phone doesn’t even have a jack anymore so I would’ve had to I would’ve had Bluetooth anyway. It sounds great.

When I tell you I tried every Bluetooth adapter I did but this by far is the best one, I’ve bought three so far AND the most recent one is type c so props for keeping up with chargers, I used it on my classic 1972 Firebird and love that it looks stock still with good audio, no static no nothing. Only complaint I have is I wish the cassette would not beep when it’s low and instead turn off when almost dead so I can enjoy music without loud beeps but overall awesome product for my cars.

Works perfectly, pairs to my phone easily, but the plastic that it's made of is clearly really thin and flimsy.

tl;dr: Bluetooth adaptors are not ready for prime time, just use a regular aux Cassette adaptor from target.I had used a regular Cassette adaptor I bought from Target. It lasted ~1 year or more before the aux wire kinked to failure (we all know the feeling and we all know when it is imminent.)Realized bluetooth adaptors were a thing now. I already switched to bluetooth headphones so why not?I bought one at Walmart, and it immediately had connection issues so I returned it.I bought this one due to promises of auto-sleep (many adaptors you need to eject, switch the power off... Not difficult, but more steps & hassle than the Cassette aux adaptor I had been using for the last year).Unfortunately, this one did not serve well either... As other reviewers commented, the sound of audio is extremely low and the audio quality was not that good either, almost zero bass, and flat overall. The auto-off function did not work well for me at home / work.I wish bluetooth adaptors found a way to power the adaptor by the Cassette player, but oh well. So of course this is one thing to have to charge... I also do not understand how aux Cassette adaptors can have the aux cable popping out but these BT adaptors cannot be charged while in use.Overall, I returned it and just bought the same aux Cassette adaptor from target.

I bought this to go in my 2002 Audi TTCharged overnight, has an easy to use on off button and shuts itself off when not usedWent to use after a week in the car without being used and was still charged. Some background noise but I’d put that down to the original cassette player.Wouldn’t use if you want high clarity sound but if you just want to play your own tunes it’s ideal.Over all, good purchase

The audio quality is exceptionally bad compared to a wired cassette adapter and even old tape cassettes. The other issue I had was it would only play the left channel, regardless of which way I inserted the cassette.

The item was probably OK, my car tape system made it sound awful. I recommend it but check your head unit first.
