In my opinion, this hard shell case is a necessity for anyone wanting to carry their Osmo 6 gimbal with them. The gimbal itself is unwieldy, especially with its tripod and also because its magnetic phone attachment doesn't store anywhere on the gimbal - it's extra baggage. The small cloth bag that came with the gimbal does nothing to protect it, and I always worried things would bang around inside there and get damaged.The case is large enough to fit the gimbal, but the tripod will not sit alongside - without some forcing, which I wasn't going to do. But everything slipped under the elastic holding band and it wasn't jostling around. The zippered carrying net on the inside of the cover, is just large enough to hold the phone attachment magnet and the charging cord, and everything is safely protected in the same place. I could probably slip in a USB/AC adapter, but that really isn't necessary. Also, because my phone cover is bulky, I like to remove it when I am using the phone camera. It is very handy to have this case to store my cover when I am using the gimbal.I like this hard shell case and I am using it every day with my Osmo 6 gimbal. I recommend it.

I have a case for my DJI Osmo Mobile 6 gimbal that is larger and fits all the accessories. A lot of time, I don’t need that and just want a smaller case. This is perfect.It fits the gimbal, the small tripod base and the mount. It also fits a MagSafe mount I have.A big plus to me is that the strap is removable. And when I’m not using it, it also fits in the case.Great quality, functionality and price.
