I work in a variety of arts/crafts mediums and rely on my X-ACTO knives daily for a variety of purposes. I recently acquired the 16-piece X-ACTO knife set and this was the only style of blade they make that wasn’t included. I use this particular blade to help me establish pits, curves, and inverted hemispheres in my work with clay. I always only buy true X-ACTO knives and blades because the knockoffs never measure up to X-ACTO’s commitment to quality, endurance, and effectiveness. I have early versions of their knives that have held up for 50 years and counting. This #28 blade definitely meets their company standards of razor sharpness, clean edges, sturdiness, and durability!

These x-acto blades are perfect for fine detail work with balsa wood or scraping gunk out of electronics without damaging anything in the process.

They are good to have around for doing small clean up woodworking. They don’t slip off the wood or acrylic easily while trimming.
