The plate quality doesn’t feel quite as nice as other stainless steel plates we have, but the sleeve feature is nice. You need to make sure everything is fully dry before putting the sleeves on. If the plates/sleeves are slightly damp from washing your baby will be able to easily pull the plates out of the sleeves.

Searched extensively and tried numerous other plates and this is the winner. Wanted to avoid microplastics, and silicone plates were becoming discolored and picking up odors from dish soap and food. These are the perfect plates. The colors are so cute and bright, my boys love picking out their color for the meal out of the 4 to choose from. The silicone sleeve is easy enough to remove and put back on. The size is just right for toddlers. Suction is mediocre, my boys can get it off when they’re really trying but at least it buys me enough time to get my hands on it before most major floor accidents. Lightweight and non-toxic, super easy to wash!

These are awesome quality! The sleeve comes on and off and suctions well. We bought them for our stokke Tripp trapp and they don’t quite fit but still useable

I was so tired of my babies silicone plates tasting like soap and food so I was on the hunt for a non toxic, non silicone, plate set. I came across elk and friends and to say I’m pleased is an understatement.. I’m amazed! I noticed an immediate difference when using these. My baby eats so much better now and I feel comfortable knowing that these plates are 100% safe. They’re also super easy to clean so that’s a plus! 10/10 would buy again.

Strong suction, sometimes my toddler will pull the plate away from the suction but not often. Suction is extra strong on counter when I’m trying to fix her plate LOL. Definitely like the concept with the stainless plates!
