GSP-8

Elitech GPS-8 data logger is mainly used to record the temperature and humidity of three aspects：

FOOD, LIFE SICIENCES and CONSUMER & INDUSTRIAL.

It is widely applicable to each link in the storage and logistics of the cold chain, such as refrigerated containers, refrigerator trucks, cooler bags, cooler cabinets, medicine cabinets, cold storage, laboratory, etc.

When you first use the data logger, please install our free data-management software. Once you connect it to your Win/Mac system, the log interval, C/F temperature unit (showed both on report and screen), alarm limits can be adjusted via the USB cable. In addition, data could be saved, graphed, exported, and in Excel/PDF format.

It is very easy to configure, has a very intuitive software and with very good capabilities. The interface is very easy to use, the battery life is excellent and additionally the technical support is very timely.

Software won't load to the Mac because it needs to be updated to be checked for malicious software.Chat is not monitored.Software documentation is incomplete.Not worth any amount of money given the time wasted.

The device is great but the support is poor to marginal. Mine only needed to be charged once a year and the 18650 cell is in great shape. Unfortunately it stopped connecting to Mac or PC or delivering the PDF exports at approximately 3 years old. Support confirmed it sounded like a hardware failure and there was no hard reset available for the device. So even if it's a firmware issue or could be cleared with a hard reset it's not possible. They just stopped responding to my ticket and didn't even try to sell me a replacement. I have some other devices from this brand and there are quite good quality typically. This was my first support experience and my first product failure and it was disappointing.
