Quality piece. Would work with a standard steel frame Vette but the aluminum frame vettes have lots of additional welds along the frame rails that prevent these from sitting anywhere near flush.Sadly elite engineering never replied to my email asking them about fitment so now I'm just out $300.I have EE stuff on the car and it is all high quality but this just doesn't work with the special aluminum framed vettes apparently without lots of modifications with a grinder

I have installed these in my C5 and C6 corvettes. The fit and quality is good. Makes it easy to jack up the cars by providing more areas to place the jack or stands. Would buy again.

With the lousy roads in my State the way they are, I wanted to protect the underside of my C5 Vette any way I could. The Aluminum Guards offer the insurance I was looking for. Since all the auto body shops I went to didn't know how to install this, I gave it some thought and decided to do the installation myself. The stainless steel screws are self-tapping, so no need to pre drill holes. Easy install once you get the clearance for a standard drill; I guess a 90 degree drill may work also, but I included pics of my installation where I used a standard drill). I used a Rhino ramp in the front to do one side at a time, then jacked the back up and used the stands to secure the back. I may sell this car because I just got a 2010 Grand Sport, and I'm seriously considering installing the aluminum guards on that vehicle also.

These rails are unobtrusive and very functional. The Corvette is a low car and these will prevent damage due to the high speed bumps that are installed everywhere these days. They also allow you to jack up the car without having jacking pucks to deal with!

Heads up corvette owners - forget about those pucks, discs, or pop in plastic jacking pads - these are the only way to protect your Corvette from those people you take your car to be serviced - let's face it even if you have a shop or mechanic that you use exclusively - every one can have a bad day and all it takes is one second of not paying attention, being distracted by someone, or just thinking about something else other than the task at hand - well now you've got a problem, damage and the headaches that no Corvette owner who truly cares about his car wants - put it this way every time you go in for an oil change or any service that requires your car to be up in the air do you hope the technician raising it knows where to position the hoist to do the lift or do you have to go out or want to go out and tell them but stop because you don't want to offend them - well all of those thoughts are non existent with these installed on your car - coupled with the quality, durability, absolute perfect fit, and about a 10 minute installation that anybody who can use a cordless screw gun can do - well do I need to say any more ? Elite Engineering keep up the great work !

Best investment ever. Protect your vehicle , and make it last. My purchase of low profile tires was an open invitation to a heartache. Simple entry, and exit from my driveway, killed me everyday, These frame rails extend the length of my investment, and very strong.
