This is a great product if you need a lift in your dog bowls. I can already see the results of my dogs, not having to put their head down to get water. I could see them coughing when the ball was on the ground as if the water had gone down the wrong way. This has eliminated that problem. I wish I had thought about this years ago.

We have a St. Bernard who just reached her full height and was having issues eating without making a huge mess. She would reach down and get her food and then stand-up dropping food while chewing, now that is not an issue. She can now easily eat and drop food back into her bowl while chewing. Would recommend for larger breed dogs!

Initially I had ordered this for my pitbull. She is not elderly, nor is she extremely tall, but I did notice that she has a bit of a habit of knocking over or pushing on her water bowl, when she goes in for a drink. She tends to make a bit of a mess, so I got a larger bowl to catch the excess drops and splashes. However, the bigger the bowl, means the more likely she is to topple it, turn it over, or just be reckless, in general. After setting this up, and looking at it a little longer, my brain began realizing that this stand is actually extremely versatile and can be used for quite number or purposes!✅ EASY ASSEMBLY: even though there are instructions that are included in the box, along with assembly pictures as well, i did not even need to glance at those instructions in order to assemble this stand, fully. just taking the pieces out of their individually wrapped plastic bags, it's very obvious and easy to tell how this is to be assembled and it only took me all of five or six minutes to get it completely put together and adjusted to the size i needed. it's far from being complicated!✅ VERY STURDY + BALANCED: once assembled, and the screws tightened firmly by hand, the stand is actually quite sturdy! there is not loose parts once its tightened, and there is no buckling or uneven weight distribution on any of the legs. the stand can go either way, im assuming, since there are rubberized caps/feet on both upper and lower ends of the metal legs but the round "platform" does face upwards in the very center. this stand can hold a decent amount of weight and because its has three legs that are intentionally spread wider than the center point, this makes the stand more balanced and less likely to tip over or fall to any side.✅ VERSATILE; CAN BE USED FOR SO MANY PURPOSES: being adjustable in regards to the width that it can hold, this stand can be used for a huge number of purposes. i discovered that this makes the perfect planter stand, especially for really large and heavy planters that you'd want to keep off your hardwood or tiled floors. the rubberized feet keep it from skidding or sliding anywhere which effectively keeps the planter and plant safe from toppling. also, because there are rubber caps on both ends of the legs, you can also use this stand as makeshift legs for a small table just to have a flat surface if you need one, for example if you're working at a specific location. you can set a flat sheet of wood, glass, or material directly on top of the stand, and it will stay in place. there are so many uses for this!◼ OVERALL RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS ————————————————♡》》》 IN SUMMARY: putting my dog's water bowl upon the stand has really made a huge difference, and now she takes her time and seems to even be more careful when she goes for a drink of water. she doesn't push or try to tip the bowl any longer and she obviously doesn't have to bend her head down to the ground to get a drink. the fact that this stand can double in purpose and be used for so many other things, is simply just an added bonus for this product. a flat sheet of material set right on top could be used as small table, a short seat/stool, or even for me, a planter stand to keep the plant off the floor. my dog seems to appreciate the new raised height of her water bowl and makes less of a watery mess when drinking. this is like one of the sturdiest and most well balanced stands that i have ever had, so i very highly recommend this, for whatever purpose you plan to use it for. i actually plan on getting several more for around the house to raise my potted plants from the floor! it's a great, well built, stable and sturdy, stand! ♡

I ended up buying 2, one for both my dogs. We had been using a neater feeder for years but now that my dogs aren't messy puppies, I've noticed one gets a bit belchy. This has significantly reduced him burping throughout the night. They both eat easier. The base is stable and can be accommodated to fit most bowl sizes. The only downside is my toddler can walk right up to it and I don't realize he's in the dog food until it's too late.
