This thermometer never worked from day 1. On the ear mode, my temperature always reads 94 degrees when taken with it. It also does not work scanning the forehead. I have tried different batteries and both functions. It is completely i inaccurate. My daughter had a high fever last week, and it read that her temperature was 97 degrees. After borrowing my mom's, it was actually 101 degrees. I would have returned it, but never really needed it until now, and the return date has passed. Save your money. It is JUNK!

There are so many thermometer options out there it was hard to pick but I’m really pleased with this one. Really easy to use and simple read display. I love the option to have an in the ear read or forehead read. Both are pretty accurate although the ear always seems better which is why I wanted a thermometer with an in-ear option. I’m really happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Update: the company was able to send me a new project that is working flawlessly, so far it seems to be doing everything I expect and really is an ease of mind.The product stopped working after a month. We got it to ease our mind with a new baby and it now is useless. It constantly shows an error when reading temperature on both baby or adult. The error means the temp is out of range which is not the case. It read a temp of 101, as I was perfectly healthy. It read a room temp of 42 degrees when our thermostat read 80. Would not recommend.

This is the third ear and forehead thermometer I have purchased. My last broke, the first replacement I bought was bulky and really inaccurate. Then, I got this one. It’s light weight, easily fits in ear canal, and reads fast with amazing accuracy. The ear and head measurements are off only by about 0.2 degrees, which is incredible. I’ve never used a thermometer that did that and read so quickly. Even the old one I had for a year or more was only ever accurate when I had a fever, but was off by a couple degrees between head and ear.I’m very pleased with this thermometer and would highly recommend it for all ages. :)

While I believe it works okay for the forehead, it reads way higher in the ear. My forehead is at 98, which seems right, my ear is reading at 102.4, which I do not have a fever. (I was testing because of my son’s inconsistent temperature).

Originally got this to use on our dog instead of the dreaded thermometer up the butt. I stick this in her ear and it’s done before she even knows what’s happening. Only takes about a second. It beeps a fever warning for a dog temp on a human thermometer since they’re normally ~100-102f, but I just ignore that. Using on ourselves against the forehead works just as well. It has only 2 buttons and 3 different settings: forehead (with the tip cover), in ear (without the tip cover), and ambient/room. The tip cover is magnetic which is nice but I’m afraid I’ll bump it off and lose it at some point, so the little drawstring bag it comes in is nice.

Good Non-contact Thermometer, Overall the product is good. Accuracy is good, lightweight, it measures the room temperature too, but I felt it was a bit complicated to use at first but I got used to it now, needs more instructions to operate. Very fast reading. Prompt delivery. Product in perfect condition upon arrival. Easy to use. Accurate. Exactly everything I was looking for. I wanted to get this for myself for very long because this is non contactless and has no worries so spreading germs from one person to another. I haven't tested in on the children so I am not sure how it works on kids.
