The plug had ample room for connecting stranded 10 gauge copper. Works as intended. I am satisfied.

Used as a replacement cord end. Well made and easy install. Oh , and price was 1/5 what the local hardware store wanted for a similar plug.

This works well and was very easy to wire/assemble. Impressive, but low cost.

Plugs are well marked and well made. I made it work for heavy duty 8 gauge with modifications to the backshell and seal. It would have been perfect for 10GA or smaller.I just had to do with what I had. Product itself is legit.

Great connector.Good handheld hold on it. No issues mishandling it.The wire attachments are perfect and secure.Literally half the price of buying at a big box store.I highly recommend.

This is actually very nice for the price. I looked at our local Lowe’s and Home Depot and these were almost triple the cost. I had my doubts when I noticed that the prongs seamed loose but after getting the wire installed the prongs are tight and don’t move. The wire clamps that hold the wire are sturdy and easy to work with. The plug has a rubber gasket on the back to weather proof the plug. This plug is not water proof, it is weather proof… meaning if your generator is under a covering like they should always be, it can handle rain splashing or blowing onto the plug… it clearly can’t be submerged. Never let a generator sit out directly in the rain unless it is designed for that… most arnt. Also make sure your wire can handle the load you are placing on it. For 30 amps you will need minimum 10-4 SJEOOW wire. If you’re wire is under rated and you try to draw 30 amps the wire will heat up and will melt/burn the plug. Not all generators can output 30 amps on the 220v twist lock outlet, it all depends on your gens watt rating. divide the max wattage by 120 and that is your max total amps you generator can handle. If you want to know max amps per phase divide total max amps by the number of phases. Most portable generators capable of producing 220 volts are 2 phase. Mine is ratted at 3500 watts continuous so that comes out to 29.16 amps total across the two phases. 14.5 amps per phase. This plug can handle 30 amps on each phase so I’m only using half of what this plug is rated for… but even so I may eventually get a bigger generator and want my cable to be able to support that generators output so I’m ok with over engineering.
