Did not actually test the ground fault but judging by the build quality I would be very surprise it was not working as attended. USB outlet works like a charm and the green LED the notify that the outlet is OK is visible in daylight but not too bright at night.

This GFI-USB-C outlet came with the seal on the box broken and sure enough when it was installed by the electrician the USB-C receptacle did not work and it had to be removed and returned to Amazon, another very frustrating experience with this company ..

I was able to use this near our kitchen island where lots of devices get recharged. Because it's not WR (weather resistant), I didn't want to put it too close to possible water contact like a bathroom, or near a sink. It has been functioning as intended for the past month with no issues.
