Making a arduino based boost gauge. Used this sender (I'm actually on my 2nd one). Have inconsistent psi readings. Whoever is putting these together is screwing the board down way to hard and cracking the o-ring housing/mount. Both senders have broken in the same way. Not worth the time waiting for it to show up just to have it fail right away. Stay away from this sender - complete waste of time.

Used this to replace a water damaged boost sensor for my "Auto Gauge" (Taiwan brand) boost meter after it failed due to water contamination. Works pretty good. This appears to be a new model of sensing unit as it has two pots to adjust zero and span, so this one can be calibrated which is easy enough. Turn the car ignition to run, adjust one pot until your gauge reads zero, then apply 1BAR pressure and adjust the other pot until the gauge is reading 1BAR and you're done.4 stars for cost, but it would be nice if it had better waterproofing, or any, so it loses a star for that.

It worked for about 3 weeks. All of the sudden the boost gauge started acting erratically swinging up and down with no change when throttle was input. In the process of doing a refund with Amazon which is a huge hassle for some reason. Now I ordered another one hopefully this next one will last more than a month.

make sure the connector is the correct one, because it didn't fit my boost gauge which is the prosport one.

This was a perfect, easy, replacement for my 3-pin boost sending unit.This is, unfortunately, a bit expensive for what it is, but slightly cheaper than buying a new kit for this one part.It has worked now for about 2 months with no issue. I expect nothing more from it than the one it replaced. With any normal use, these cheaply manufactured units may last 6 months. If I manage to get significantly more from it, I may return to update my review.
