The grinder died within a year. The seller and the manufacturer refused to replace it under warranty. Stay away. Buy the Epare brand instead. Epare works great.

I read so many reviews on various electric grinders that I truly think something is inherently wrong with them. Reviews on this brand were either works great or did not work. I purchased due to mostly positive reviews. This brand worked for few weeks then would not grind. Product was only used few times per week. I shook product to possibly dislodge peppercorn, still not grinding. Took apart, still not grinding. Let sit for few weeks, then worked for few days before it stopped working. I know there was no shipping damage. Product packaged in nice, sturdy black box. I've reordered the OXO manual peppercorn grinder. I had that product for about 5-6 years, with extremely heavy use before shaft broke. OXO manual grinder is faster than electric grinder.

I could never understand why my husband wanted a pepper grinder - pepper is pepper, right? But a few years ago, he asked me to order some better peppercorns instead of buying the ones at the grocery store. I chose "Four Peppercorn Rainbow Blend (here on Amazon), and to my surprise, I love the flavor of pepper now! I grew up using finely-ground McCormick's pepper from the red & white rectangular metal can, but now I would feel deprived if I couldn't use this freshly ground pepper. I'm almost "addicted" to it! I even bought a pepper grinder to keep at work so I can enjoy freshly-ground pepper at lunch, too. There might be even better peppercorns out there, but so far, we're really happy with these. My husband had me order some Szechuan red peppercorns, but I didn't care for them. They're not overly hot, but they had kind of a lemony flavor that seemed odd to me, and they also make your tongue kind of tingly/numb. Eventually even my husband got tired of it, plus, they didn't work very well in the pepper grinder because we didn't get the more expensive premium version that has removed the hard shells (or something like that). As for a pepper grinder, we had previously had one that you squeezed with your hand to grind up the pepper. That became difficult for my husband to use because he has lost mobility in his right hand, and it was painful for him to squeeze repeatedly to grind the pepper. I looked on Amazon and found a stainless steel Epare Battery-Operated Salt or Pepper Grinder. I've since bought a couple of other brands that look exactly the same, including this iBunny brand. Anyway, this type works well because he only has to press a button on the top, and the batteries do all the work. Not only that, it shines a light on the food so you can see how much pepper you have. The batteries last forever - about 2 years.

The iBunny Premium Stainless Steel Salt/Pepper Grinder is an excellent product -- it functions extremely well and is easy to use and operate -- an additional plus is the attractiveness of the product. It looks expensive.Regarding value, the salt/pepper grinder offers excellent value for the price. NOTE: I would have paid twice as much for the product, as it meets and exceeds all of my expectations. As important and impressive as the product is for customers based on my experience, the customer service is equally if not more significant to me as all of the questions and issues that were presented to the owner were answered completely and professionally. The company will definitely take care of any product-related concerns if and when they arise. In essence, I look forward to buying other products from iBunnyshop because I have absolutely no reservations in doing so. The quality of the product, customer service, as well as the overall integrity of the company are all beyond question.

The good: It will put pepper on your food, reliably, one-handed. It looks sleek, and puts light on the food that you're peppering. The bad: It was a pain to load without getting peppercorns everywhere. This is the biggest problem with this device: loading corns is hard. Also, it is noisy as HELL, to use at the table. It got so that we were warning the table before peppering our food, lest we startle the people with whom we were dining. My mother, who received it as a gift, is worried that it will cause her dogs to bark. She may have something there. It is louder than an electric toothbrush, and quieter than a blender making a frozen drink on high. Considering that you buy these things for elegance and ease, that's too much.

I bought this mill to use with Kroger Private Selection Garlic & Pepper Seasoning. I found it very tedious to use the plastic manual grinder which is a part of the KPSG&P seasoning bottle, so I originally transferred the seasoning to an Atlas manual pepper mill with stainless steel grinders. The grinders quickly got clogged with the seasoning mix and would not work. I knew the plastic grinder heads worked well on the original bottle, so I began a search for a better mill with a plastic grinder mechanism. I stumbled upon the iBunny mill with its ceramic grinder and electric operation and thought I would give it a try. I have been using it for a little over a week now and so far, I am very pleased with its operation. It is easy to fill, easy to install batteries, accurate in its dispensing, the grinder head hasn't clogged, and the motor hasn't stalled. The dispensing button isn't too stiff nor too sensitive. It appears to be built with quality parts. If it gives me at least a year of satisfactory operation I will be very happy.
