I got this cheap one to see if i would actually use it. Well, i use it every day. I will most likely invest in a better quality one.Bad things;Closure snaps break off constantly. Housing seems warped, so the lid doesn't go on tight...no longer "leak proof".No way to control the temp.Good things:It does get really hot. I have figured out if I put my raw oatmeal and milk in a pyrex dish and just set it in the thing, by morning break its cooked to perfection. For lunch, i butter bread like a grilled cheese, stack cheese and meat, wrap in foil and after i take out my oats, set the foil wrapped sammich in. Flip it halfway to lunchbreak and by lunch, i have a delicious fresh grilled cheese sammich.I would not buy this particular one again because of quality issues. Cheap Chinese Crap.

I couldn’t be happier with this Electric Lunch Box! My daughter, who’s in college, absolutely loves it. This lunch box has been a game-changer for her—she’s now able to take my home-cooked meals with her to school and enjoy them anytime, even in the car between classes. The container is the perfect size for a satisfying meal, and it’s easy for her to pack the night before. What really impresses us is the three voltage options (12V, 24V, and 110V)—whether she’s warming her lunch in the car, at school, or even at home, it’s so versatile. She loves the fork and spoon that come with it, so she’s always prepared. Plus, the leakproof lid ensures there’s no mess, and the interior is super easy to clean. She’s been able to save money by bringing her own meals instead of relying on expensive campus food. It’s also given her the freedom to eat a warm, homemade meal anytime she needs it. We’re so glad we found this – it’s the perfect solution for any busy college student!

The lunchbox is amazing! Easy to use, sturdy, easy to clean, and gets the food nice and sizzling hot like a plate of fajitas. I can put in something frozen, and in about 30 minutes or so have a home cooked meal ready to eat. It will heat up anything with no problem. It’s nice and compact to easily tuck away while I’m driving but it can hold a ton of food and it comes with sturdy silverware that you can store in its top. I like to plug it up periodically while I eat so my food never gets cold. 🤌🏾Chef’s kiss!

Works just as described got it for my son . He does construction and from day to day at a different site . He plugs it in his car and takes 15/20 minutes and the food is warm/hot most his co workers ended up ordering one and there all saving a lot of money bringing food from home instead of ordering food from the closest place they were at .

Perfect size. Love that it has space for the utensils. After using this item for the last couple of weeks, I just have to add that I absolutely love it! It heats my food all the way through and has made hot lunches so much more simple. Everything from homemade soups to full entrees and sides. It has been perfect!

I needed something to heat my food up on the go as I work in the oil field. This thing works great. My food was good and hot in 15-25 mins. Best investment.

Love this product. Perfect size to use for my lunch at work. I drive truck locally, and use it to heat food while working. Functions great. Plugs right into the outlet and heats while I’m driving done the road or waiting to load and unload. It’s been tipped over on its side and hasn’t leaked anything before. I’d highly recommend for using while traveling to heat up simple meals. I use it to take leftovers mostly.

I just started a new job at an office without a microwave, so I started looking for other ways to heat up my food. The other reviews were so positive, I just had to try this one! It definitely works, but I have just 2 quips with it.The description is a little inconsistent with the estimated heating times. Sometimes it says 25-35, other times 35-45, other times 15-30, and most of the reviews said it was fast. Considering I'm using a regular wall outlet and didn't have much food packed (enough rice to coat the bottom of the box and some potstickers) I assumed it would take closer to the 15 minutes mark, if not faster since it was relatively empty. It did take a solid 30 minutes to heat up my food, though once it was done it was the perfect temperature and made my lunch break so much more pleasant. Just be prepared for it to take around 30 minutes - not inaccurate to the description, but I can't imagine it being as fast as 15 minutes. My other quip is about the included plastic box. Like other reviewers, I opted not to keep the insert box in for heating out of fear of it melting or warping. The issue with this is then that if I want to store that box in the larger metal tub on the way to work, I have to either find another small box to put the rest of my food in, or pull this one out of a full container of food, leaving mess on the outside of it. Plus, the insulated carrying bag does not have space for the small box to be stored next to the big one if I opt to store them separately. One last note - and this is more of advice than a critique - if you're bringing rice, pasta, or another grain or starch, I recommend adding a little water into the container before heating. I didn't want my rice soupy so I opted not to do that this first time, however my rice dried out and stuck to the bottom. Understandable and definitely a user error, but though I could share that as well.Overall a great product for a reasonable price.
