It's so soft and the heating element is perfect for chilly days and is a softer better option than a heating pad. My cat also loves it and I regularly find her Makin biscuits on it. Excellent purchase

I purchased this blanket for my mother because she is cold all of the time. She loves the softness and the warmth of the blanket. She set it on medium and said that it really is keeping her warm. Great value for the money.

It is very soft and lightweight. It has three settings that give you the best temperature. It was great for the snow storm in New Orleans this winter.

It’s soft, it doesn’t heat up as warmly as another heated blanket I own, and you can definitely feel the wires. It’s not enough to bother me but if you have sensory issues this might drive you insane. Overall though, it’s usable

Although the blanket does deliver the heat and makes those cold winter nights barrable, The actual heat area is much less than advertised. Blanket size is described as 72" x 84" and that part is true. It covers a queen size bed nicely. The weak part is the heat elements only cover 36" x 60" which tends to crowd you into the middle of the bed and leaves a coooold boarder along the sides and bottom. Not to bad to tolerate if its just you in the bed but with two it crowds both into the center fighting for the warm spot. If I was buying again one thing I would pay close attention to is the actual heat element area. One more heat strip down both sides would make it a good purchase.

I gave it full stars because it is fast heating and does a great job. Trouble is I have to have a blanket over it to effectively trap the heat better and stay toasty. Now if you're just wanting to keep warm and not toasty then it is perfect. If you have a drafty house with now central heat...this is either not for you or you better grab a blanket to toss over it to trap that heat more effectively.

This blanket is thinner than I thought. It took some getting use to and I had to try it several times. I thought I was going to have to send it back due tonight not staying on for minimum of 3 hrs, but it finally did. I'm a little disappointed due to it being thin. Warm or low is barely warm at all. The next notch up is hot. I don't want to trouble with returning it. So I will just use it. I personally would not buy this.I have a lot of throws and this is so much thinner than all my throws.
