Very soft and very stretchy.Unfortunately, too stretchy for mask making, in my opinion, so I returned it.Had to give 3 stars because they claim this is for mask making. 5 stars If you just want stretchy, white, silky elastic, this is for you.

It was time to make some more masks since our state requires them for store entry, most gatherings, etc. Decided to make some 3D ones because breathing through them is a little easier. My husband needs to be able to adjust the elastic so it can go over his hearing aids. By using an adjustable slide on this wider, soft, stretchy elastic it's comfortable for him.

Good quality soft and stretchy band. I made a lot of masks and these bands hold up well wash after wash.

I just can't explain enough how much I love this 'flatter' soft elastic. It's soft, like the 'round' ones, but it's actually a bit "flat" like those tough super flat 1/4" elastics. But with this bit of flatness, it doesn't "roll" around when you are sewing/attaching the elastic. Super stretchy and super soft. But strong.

The BEST elastic for masks! I've tried several types and this is by far my favorite. It's super soft and non-irritating. I wear it all day at work and never have a complaint.However, it's not as stretchy as other elastics so be careful not to tie it too short!
