I am a homeschool mom. The lesson plan and record book that I have used for over 10 years is out of print. So I was needing to get something similar. It needed to have...● days down the side, subjects/periods across the top● enough lesson plan pages for 40 weeks, preferably with "ruled" boxes● enough record keeping pages for 40 weeks of both grades AND attendance. I know it may seem ridiulous to keep attendance in a homeschool, but it's required in my state. This book ticks the first 2 boxes, but literally only has ONE page for record-keeping.The description said it had space for record-keeping. And it does....but not enough. It's not a total loss. I can use it for lesson plans for the co-op students...their own parents will keep their attendance records. But it's not what I needed for MY kids.If you don't need lots of room for records, then this book will be perfectly adequate. The price is affordable. And the quality is fine.

If you're looking for a sturdy, no-frills, plan book, this one should fit the bill.I prefer a simple, open format, and I don't teach elementary aged students, so there's no need to lose valuable space to "cute" designs. There is a short section for seating charts, overview planning and a "school event" calendar. If you work an August-May school year, the calendar may be of reduced benefit as it covers the traditional September-June time-frame. There is a decent amount of space for planning notes for each class, and there are enough two-page spreads to accommodate a 36-40 week school year. The paper is of good quality and erases cleanly, a necessity if you frequently revise your plans.

There are so many pretty planners on the market but I couldn't stand the though of spending big bucks on something I would only use for 180 days. This one was more in my price range and honestly, all that I needed. It's simple and there's lots of space to plan, plenty for me anyway. I liked it enough that I'm now on here looking for next year's version. Thought I'd drop a review while I'm in here poking around.

This planner provides lots of space for lesson planning and allows for lots of flexibility. The spiral bound planner has a section for student lists, schedules, seating plans and important procedures and lays out flat. You can choose the vertical or horizontal orientation for the days of the week.I've been using these planners for many years and have never found one better! Try it- you won't be sorry!

Great product, been using this brand for years. It’s sturdy and has ample space in the boxes and has thicker pages. Nice.

There isn't much to say about this planner besides the fact that it's got everything I need, is well built, and gets the job done.As a teacher only a few years into my career, it's important for me to take extremely detailed notes on what I do each day, how things go, and ideas to improve next year. This planner has ample space to do just that. With 6 subjects on each page spread I'm able to spend three columns on each of my two preps. I don't personally use the pages for sub information, seating charts, conference info, etc., but all that is there too if it fits your needs.
