These work, but the fit and finish doesn't live up to the price tag. The square edges aren't polished, there is no opening mechanism for the legs, and they just look kind of cheap. None of that would be a problem if these were say, $5, but at $22, you'd expect something a little nicer feeling and looking.

This is a hefty, weighty little caliper pen - in a good way. If you’ve ever held a really nice pen, it had a similar feel to it. It seems sturdy and well made. It moves smoothly, but stays where you put it when you adjust the angle.
