I ordered this for the top of a 6' mirror my husband bought me for Christmas and it's perfect! It's about 17" wide and 3" high at it's widest point. It's exactly what I was looking for. I glued it on with JB weld Superweld Extreme, and it did the trick. I just wanted to add a feminine element to a pretty plain for length mirror and I love how it turned out. Since this review, I ordered another one of these for above a built in closet I'm doing in my bedroom, to match my full length mirror. Love this!!!

I used this onlay to decorate part of a fireplace cabinet. I used Liquid nails to attach it and tape to hold it still until the glue dried; then, I painted it and glazed it. The only turned out exactly as I wished with no problems.

I saw a very similar onlay on a $600+ crib and found this one to add myself to a simple sleigh crib that was free. The ribbon detail is actually prettier than the inspiration. This did come with a break (despite the very secure packaging) which is easily fixed with caulk but some of the outer shell flaked off. All in all I am happy, I purchased 7 Ekena onlays and each had beautiful detail without seams showing, very easy to work with.
