Jug features excellent optical clarity and easy to read, raised graduations and specifications. 50ml subdivisions. Features a spout for easy pouring, and handle for stable handling and convenient lifting.
Jug measures 6.5" tall, and is 8.6" wide from spout to handle edge. Bottom diameter measures 5".
Autoclavable, with superior chemical durability. Excellent resistance to strong acids, alcohols and bases. Can withstand temperatures up to 135°C. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

Bought it to empty a catheter bag into. It is short and wide open. Makes it very easy to use. Cleans up great after use.

Its durable composition makes this pitcher especially useful in lab environments requiring sterilization or chemical wear-resistance.However, polypropylene may be known for its durability and chemical-resistance, yet it still shows signs of wear such as scratching with heavy usage over time. While this doesn't affect functionality directly, those who care about maintaining its aesthetic value should take note.Overall, Eisco Labs 2000mL Plastic Pitcher is an impressive piece of equipment. Featuring ergonomic European design as well as high resistance to chemicals and autoclave capability, it makes an excellent choice for both professional and domestic use. I use this mainly to refill a Keurig coffee machine that has a narrow opening on the water side. With the spout design of this jug, it results in accurate pouring and a stiff edge to lay against the opening to aide in pouring without spillage. Sits flat on it's large base with little chance of being knocked over when full. Handle is great for gripping and is stiff. Lightweight when empty. Have not washed in dishwasher yet.
