This is a well made weight set. This makes calibrating scales easy. Good for the classroom or shop.

This is a set of 5 pieces. Four 50g weights plus one 50g hanging base. My base weighed 49.98g, and the four weights weighed 50.00, 49.98, 50.01, and 49.97g. And a total of 249.93g. The weights including the base seemed to have a dirty look; not clean, shiny metal. The hook is about 7mm wide and about 11mm long. The base is 109mm tall. The diameter of the weights are 31.7mm. The base has flat spot on the hanger to put the loose weights on; they will not fall off when resting on the base. The text on the weights looks like the middle 2 of the 4 current product pictures. Also, the product is not shiny like the first and last picture, but closer to the middle 2. And last, the weights came in a shrink wrapped plastic, not a plastic baggie.

I'm not even sure what this contraption is for. I got it to hang from my skylight chain. For those who don't know what a "skylight" is, it's a town/row home thing....you wouldn't understand - LOL.Either way, on very windy days the skylights would be blown and make little rattling noises and let in drafts. I would hang something heavy there (like a jacket) but wanted something more permanent that I didn't need to remove when it was not windy.Side note: I got the O & C from Amazon as well to clearly designate which pull opens and closes the skylight. They are Monogram Keychains :)
