These are very useful, I use them for small amounts of colored ink/paint for calligraphy. If you get the right paint you can just let it dry up with the lid on, and add water later to reuse. Two of the lids were broken but the company responded quickly to send two more, plus two more crucibles. Great service.

I bought these to melt precious metals. I've subjected three of them to extreme heat (1,250°C, well beyond their temperature rating) and they showed no visible cracking or degradation. (I'm not saying you can/should use them above their temperature ratings, just sharing my experience.)

Crucibles are 8 ml capacity and not 10 ml as stated. The box they came is labeled 10 ml, but a precision scale verifies that this is not the case.
