I figured Eisco could be trusted for a decent acceleration dot timer. The metal piece that the stylus depends upon to make the marks was not glued in upon recieving the timer, and was almost immediately lost. No good without that little peice!

I got this for a science experiment at school and it worked as advertised. I didn’t have any trouble with set up or use. The students also found it very easy to use.

Works great. Used it to demonstrate acceleration/air resistance/terminal velocity whilst kids were learning from home.

None of the five units ordered worked initially. There was no assembling instruction. A technical person was needed to figure out how to assemble and make it work. Students in calss had problem using them and they wasted most of their lab time trying to get it to work.

I had a really nasty surprise when I tried to use this ticker time. The plug does not fit in a europeen socket, it is actually a plug for an american socket. I did not pay attention to the photo, and it wasn't specified anywhere in the description. I had to use another adapter 12V with a bigger current, which I found home. I could not send the device back, because I needed it urgently for labwork. It's a pity, because the price is already too high, and then now I have to buy another adapter for a plug.

We have found that this timer provides for many more opportunities for accurate lab measurements. Students need some guidance in use but eventually get the hang of it and are able to create great graphs describing speed and acceleration

I do not recommend it. To fragil for students use and difficult to set it up.Not recommended
