Single, prepared microscope slide with submerged leaf of Elodea. Elodea is a waterweed with leaves that are only two cell layers thick. Excellent for visualizing chloroplasts and studying aquatic plants. Slide measures 75mm (3") wide, 25mm (1") long and 0.06" in height.

Slides are expertly prepared, and labeled for easy identification. All materials in Eisco Labs slides are completely inert and sealed in glass.

I like the presentation, it's well mounted and prepared so it's easy to see the sample via a microscope. Kids enjoyed learning with it.I enjoyed the price and value.

It's a reasonable slide at a fairly reasonable price. You only get a tiny sliver of the leaf, but that's really all you need.
