Vacuum Filtration Kit

Everything you need to conduct vacuum filtration procedures with one convenient set. Vacuum filtration is faster method for separating solids from liquids than traditional gravity filtration. All the high-quality components are neatly packed in a custom foam insert for added protection and easy storage.

Set includes the following components:

  • (1) 500mL Glass Filtering Flask with sidearm, made from high-quality, borosilicate 3.3 glass
  • (1) Hand-Held Vacuum Pump with gauge
  • (1) Buchner Funnel, 4" dia., polypropylene, 2-part with perforated plate
  • (100) Qualitative Filter Paper circles, 9cm dia.
  • (1) Flexible Tubing, 35"L
  • (1) Rubber Stopper that fits Filtering Flask, with 15mm dia hole

Funnel had extreme warp in filter part. The paper would come up letting particles in under the paper filters

Hose barb on beaker broke when removing the hose to clean for the first time. Piece of junk. Not worth the $65

I purchased this for my son who forges for mushrooms. He makes medicinal Tincher’s. He just raves about the product. He said it is well constructed just what he needed for his business. The size is adequate and it is very durable.

I would so buy this if it had a cermaic buchner (yes I know it would cost a little more)
